From 29 June to 1 July 2022, more than 500 qualified trade visitors from 300 companies in the metal industry met over 50 exhibitors at the CNC Outlet Center in Olching.
The trade fair metalworking Fameta 2022 was positively evaluated by exhibitors and visitors alike, reports the organiser CNC Outlet Center. From 29 June to 1 July, the fair welcomed guests from almost 300 companies in the DACH region, who were looked after by 102 experts from around 50 exhibitors. Specialist information and knowledge transfer were also provided by 785 minutes of lectures and seminars. It was not all about machining: G+S Werkzeugmaschinen and the CNC Outlet Center expanded the range to include technologies for sheet metal processing, and 3D printing was also represented. "Every year we are happy to be there again as exhibitors," explains Sebastian Trummer, sales manager of Encee GmbH, which represents, among others, the world market leader in plastic 3D printing Stratasys. "Fameta provides the perfect setting for intensive technical discussions with our target group of medium-sized companies." The other exhibition programme ranged from laser engraving and cutting systems to measuring technology, tool presetting devices and tool systems, as well as operating equipment, automation solutions and industrial software.
The centre featured over 50 CNC machining centres, lathes and grinding machines from many well-known manufacturers such as Chiron, Emag, Hurco, Index and Traub, Kunzmann, Okuma, Tornos and Weiler. The comprehensive range of new and used machine tools forms the core of the CNC Outlet Center in Olching: "We have trade fairs all year round," says René Schmidt, one of the managing directors. But within this framework, the three-day metalworking trade fair stands out in particular: "The size, the professional orientation and the appealing setting of Fameta create a special atmosphere," says Holger Kösler, Managing Director of the CNC Outlet Center. The next metalworking trade fair will be held in Olching near Munich from 28 to 30 June 2023.
