Press Release: Metalworking Trade Exhibition 2027

Cancellation of FaMeta 2027 and Subsequent Events

FaMeta Continues to Evolve: Organization Team Shifts Focus to Exclusive Specialist Formats

Olching, July 14, 2026 – After five successful years, the FaMeta organization team looks back with pride on a development that has made the event one of the most popular trade fairs in Southern Germany for the metalworking sector. Year after year, FaMeta has recorded a continuous increase in trade visitors and exhibitors.
Despite this success story, the organization team has decided to discontinue the current trade fair format with immediate effect. Planning for FaMeta 27 as well as all subsequent events in this form is hereby officially cancelled.

New Direction Instead of Stagnation
The success and the associated growth of the event have pushed the team's capacity to its limits. The deciding factor for this decision was the increasing logistical challenges at the Olching/Geiselbullach location, particularly regarding infrastructure and parking capacity, which no longer allow for a continuation on the previous scale.
However, the end of the large trade fair marks the beginning of a new chapter. In the future, the team will concentrate fully on the conception of smaller, highly targeted specialist events. These new formats will make it possible to circumvent infrastructure limitations and place an uncompromising focus on quality, intensive professional exchange, and tailored content for the industry.

Thanks to Partners and Companions
“With a heavy heart, we are saying goodbye to FaMeta in its current form,” states the organization team. “We look back with gratitude on five inspiring years. We would like to extend our special thanks to the team at the CNC Outlet Center for providing the premises, as well as the team at G+S Werkzeugmaschinen for the relentless motivation that has always driven the event forward. A heartfelt thank you also goes to all visitors and exhibitors for their trust.” The organization team is thus closing a successful chapter and looks forward to welcoming the industry back soon with new, exclusive formats.
